What browser is supported ?
iCougarDating.com is optimized for Internet Explorer Version 6 and above. For Mac computers, Safari is supported.
When clicking on a profile, nothing happens. Why can’t I view user profiles?
Your browser most likely disables pop-up windows. Check your browser’s security setting in order to enable pop-up windows. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Option. Select "Security" Tab. Slide the "Security level for this zone" to Medium. This will allow you to view all profiles.
Why was my picture removed?
Please make sure you submitted pictures that meet our guidelines. Photos that have nothing to do with you, such as a landscape, a flower or a copyrighted celebrity picture will be removed. Pornographic pictures will also be promptly removed.
Why was my account suspended?
Each day, thousands of new users subscribe to iCougarDating.com. Our Customer Care team regularly review all submitted profiles to make sure you find quality matches. With that in mind, we may reject profiles that contain any of the following:
• Abusive language of any kind, including vulgarity, racism, illegal activity, etc.
• Any direct contact information, including email addresses, URLs, ICQ/instant messenger IDs, phone numbers, full names, addresses, etc.
• Unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material
• Business or political advertisements or solicitations
• Foreign languages (To effectively monitor profiles, we require our members to write in English)
• Material that exploits or solicits personal information from individuals under the age of 18
• Overt solicitation for sex or descriptions of sexual activity, anatomy, etc.
How do I change my email address?
To change your email address, click on the "Home" page. From the "Control Panel", click on the "Edit My Profile" icon. From there, you can change your email address, age, location and all other information previously entered at signup time. When finished, click on the "Submit" button for changes to take effect.
How do I change my password?
This can be done from the "Control Panel", by clicking on the "Change Pasword" icon.
How do I add a picture to my profile?
We’re glad you’re asking because this is the single most important aspect of your profile. With a photo, you suddenly become alive to the whole iCougarDating.com community. From the "Home" page in the "Control Panel", click on the very first icon called "Upload My Profile Picture". Then click on the "Choose File" button. A window opens up and let you select a picture on your computer. Select your favorite .jpg image and click OK. The maximum size for your image is 400K. Then click on the "Upload" button.
How do I edit and complete the rest of my profile?
First click on "Home" to make sure you’re on the Home page. From the "Home" page in the "Control Panel", click on the "Edit My Profile" icon. Here you have 6 sub-sections:
• Signup Information
• Basic Information
• Physical Appearance
• Lifestyle
• Professional Life
• Interests
Click on any sub-section to fill-out your information. When finished, make sure to click on the "Submit" button for changes to take effect. Clicking on the "Submit" button takes you to the next sub-section.
What is the Instant Messenger box on the main Home page?
The Instant Messenger is a faster way to communicate safely with other members who are online. Without giving any personal information to other members, it allows you to chat instantly with them. It’s quick, fun, convenient and totally safe. Give it a try!
Is it safe to communicate with other iCougarDating.com members?
When a member sends you a message, it goes straight into your message Inbox. iCougarDating.com then send an email to your personal email address to let you know that you’ve received a message. That "relay" system ensures that your confidential information is never exposed to strangers.
How do I read my messages?
From the Home page, click on the "Control Panel>Check Mail" icon. Messages are blow the blue bar. To read incoming messages, just click on the subject of the message. In order to reply, click "reply", write your own message and send away. Your note will go straight into the other member's iCougarDating.com’s Inbox without ever revealing your email address. All communications on iCougarDating.com are completely safe as they never reveal any confidential information.
How does "My Matches" works?
My Matches works according to the basic profile and "Search Preferences" as set in the "Control Panel>Edit My Profile>Signup Information" page.
How do I permanently remove my profile from this website?
Log into your account and click on the Delete Profile link at the bottom of the iCougarDating.COM web page. Please note that removing your profile using the Delete Profile link will ONLY remove your profile from iCougarDating.COM and will NOT cancel any recurring paid subscription you may have. To cancel your recurring PAID subscription or 3-Day Trial to iCougarDating.COM you must go to www.ccBill.com (see question pertaining to ccBill below).
When I delete my profile from iCougarDating.COM, does it end my PAID subscription or 3-Day Trial? Can I put my subscription on hold?
